Field Service Engineer

Position: Field Service Engineer

Location: Hiroshima, Japan

Position Summary:

In this role, you'll be essential to business success by developing and improving processes on our tools at customer sites. You'll need to understand customer needs and provide tool support, working closely with headquarters to ensure exceptional service and value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety procedures and prioritize safety and quality.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain semiconductor process equipment.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to provide consistent support.
• Analyze equipment log data and prepare reports using MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Ensure maximum tool uptime and effective handling of hardware issues.
• Manage new evaluations and ensure project success.
• Represent the company professionally and develop strong customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Key Requirements:

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a field service engineer in a related industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong Japanese language skills (JLPT N2 or higher).
