What is a chatbot?

A chatbot is a computer program that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to simulate a text or voice-based conversation with a person. Our text-based chatbot appears in a pop-up window, and users have conversations with it in the same way as the direct message function on most social media platforms. Because our chatbot is of the AI variety, it knows how to interact with humans and can understand responses in a much more human way, as opposed to rule-based chatbots which are much more limited. This, combined with our user-friendly platform, results in a great experience for users on both sides of the recruitment process.

Yes, as an integral part of our platform, it is free to use.

What languages does the LeaddMe Chatbot speak?

Japanese and English.

Does the LeaddMe chatbot support voice?

No. Only text is supported as we have found that this leads to greater accuracy and better results.

Is my information kept safe?

Yes, our chatbot will keep your interactions with it private. Only the company or recruiter who posted the job will be able to view your responses which are stored under high-level security in Google Cloud.

What can the LeaddMe Chatbot do for you?

The LeaddMe chatbot screens candidates by asking a series of predetermined questions that it continuously adjusts as it receives answers in the same way as a live interviewer would. General

What is a LeaddMe Premium Account?

LeaddMe Premium Account holders receive the following additional benefits:

  • See who is viewing your profile and gain valuable insights as to the type of people you are attracting.
  • Message anyone on the platform including recruiters and business managers, rather than only those you are connected with.
  • Appear at the top of searches. We will put you at the top so that recruiters and employers see you first.
  • View more potential connections. Basic membership limits the number of profiles appearing in search results to 10. With a premium membership this limit is removed.

How do I upgrade my Account?

To upgrade to Premium:

  • Go to your user home screen,
  • Click on “Premium & Benefits” on the left-hand side of the screen (under “Main feed”),
  • Select your preferred payment plan, and
  • Follow the prompts to complete payment.

How do I delete a post?

To delete a post:

  • Click on the three dots appearing in the top right-hand corner of the post, and
  • Select “delete post” from the drop-down menu.

What are followers?

These are people following your profile because they are interested in reading your articles or other posts. Every post you make, including job posts, appear on your followers’ news feeds. You can also follow others to keep up-to-date with their latest postings.

We suggest following people who have similar work experience as you, colleagues, classmates, and those that have the potential to help you grow your career. This will help you to filter the content you see on your newsfeed.

Who can see my followers?

Your followers are only visible to you.

Who can see who I am following?

Only you can see your list of followers. Those who you follow can also see that you are following them.

Can I contact my followers?

You can contact your connections directly or if you are a premium member and the follower elects to receive such messages.

What are the connections?

These are people you follow that are also following you. You are able to send private messages to your connections directly unless they have elected to not receive such messages.

Can I see the contact details of my connections?

Yes, unless the member elects not to show their contact details in settings.

Can others see who my connections are?

No. Only you can see your list of connections.

Why isn’t the platform working properly?

Our platform is regularly maintained and works well for our users. If it is not running smoothly, try one of the following:

  • Delete the temporary internet files in your browser.
  • Update your browser.
  • Use a different browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari) as it might be a temporary problem with a particular browser. If you are still having difficulty, please contact us.

How do I close my account?

We are sorry to hear that you are leaving.

Please note that if you are a LeaddMe premium account member, you can cancel your premium account membership while keeping your basic (free) LeaddMe account active. That way, you retain your profile, connections and other information.

If you would like to close your account entirely:

  1. Click on “Settings” on the top-right hand corner of the screen and select “close my account” from the drop-down menu, and
  2. Follow the prompts.

Upon closing your account, you will no longer have access to any messages sent or received, or any other information relating to your profile on the LeaddMe platform.

How do I cancel my premium account membership?

If you are sure you no longer wish to receive the benefits of premium account membership, and wish to cancel your premium account:

  1. Go to the premium and benefits page
  2. Click on cancel at the bottom of the page

Recruiter

What is LeaddMe Recruiter?

LeaddMe Recruiter speeds up the search process by leading you to the ‘best-fit’ candidates. Our AI-powered chatbot will screen candidates and do those repetitive tasks involved in managing your search so that you, and your candidates, don’t have to. This enables you to focus more of your energy on the fun part—sealing the deal! Candidates enjoy interacting with our user-friendly chatbot as they get immediate feedback on their application rather than waiting around for your response.

Why get a LeaddMe Recruiter Premium Account?

With a premium LeaddMe Recruiter account you’ll be equipped to find the right candidates faster! You will gain more access to our growing network with limits on the number of profiles appearing in search results being removed (basic memberships get a maximum of 10 results). You’ll also be able to send direct messages to non-connections meaning better candidate contact. On top of this, you or your jobs will appear at the top of candidate and employer searches and be able to see who is viewing your profile.

How do I setup a LeaddMe Recruiter account?

  1. Logout if you are already connected,
  2. Go to the home page,
  3. Enter your details,
  4. Click “Sign up”, and
  5. When prompted, select “I am a recruiter and looking for hiring people”.

Can I use my LeaddMe Member login details to register for a LeaddMe Recruiter account?

No. You need to use a different email address and password to register for a LeaddMe Recruiter account.

How much is a LeaddMe Recruiter membership?

Membership is free. Members pay a fee when posting jobs. LeaddMe Recruiter members can purchase a premium account to leverage LeaddMe’s expanding network and directly contact a larger pool of candidates.

Why do I need to upload a picture?

Including a picture makes you appear more credible to candidates. In fact, evidence has shown that including a profile picture leads to more positive responses. This means more followers and a larger pool of candidates seeing your posts which results in an increased number and quality of responses to your job posts.

What happens to my profile if I leave my current employer?

Your LeaddMe Recruiter profile is not linked to your employer, which means you can keep your LeaddMe account even when changing jobs.

How do I post a job?

  1. Go to the Jobs page,
  2. Select “post a job”,
  3. Fill in the relevant job details,
  4. Create questions that you want the chatbot to ask candidates,
  5. Pay the job post fee,
  6. Click on “Post Now!”
  7. Share your job post on LeaddMe and any other platform to increase your exposure, and
  8. Sit back, relax, and watch the applications roll in while our AI-powered chatbot screens candidates for you.

Will I have access to LeaddMe Artificial Intelligence when I post a job?

Yes. Our chatbot is built on the Enterprise-grade Chatbot Management Platform (EBM). This platform gives you the tools and operating system to effectively manage and monitor the chatbot’s performance. Additionally, our team of AI specialists is always on hand to help you manage content, improve responses, and retrain the chatbot on new phrases. EBM integrates with Google’s Dialogflow, IBM’s Watson Assistant and RASA, and comply with data governance and privacy policy guidelines.

Where can I see candidates’ applications?

For Recruiters- in the “manage job” tab on your LeaddMe Recruiter homepage. Here, you can also review all communication between the chatbot and candidates. We will also send you an email whenever a candidate applies for a job or sends you a direct message.

Others- From member homepage, click on Settings and select" My Posted Jobs". from the dropdown menu. Here, you can also review all communication between the chatbot and candidates. We will also send you an email whenever a candidate applies for a job or sends you a direct message.

How many jobs can I post?

There is no limit to the number of jobs you can post. Each job post incurs fees when viewed, but remember that each and every job post saves you time with our AI-powered chatbot working even as you sleep to screen and evaluate candidates to you.

Profile

Who will be able to see my LeaddMe profile?

All LeaddMe and LeaddMe Recruiter members can search for your profile. Additionally, anyone with a link to your profile is able to view it, although only members can follow you.

Why do I need to upload a picture?

Uploading a picture makes your profile appear more complete and credible to potential employers. In fact, there is evidence to indicate that profiles that include profile pictures receive more positive responses. It also helps employers viewing your profile to consider you as a person, not just as a bunch of credentials on the screen.

How do I edit my profile?

You can edit your public profile by:

  1. On your user home screen, click on “Settings” in the top right-hand corner and then “view profile” from the drop-down menu,
  2. Click on the three dots on the right-hand side of the screen and select “edit profile”,
  3. Click on the blue pencil icon on the right-hand side of the screen, and 4.Follow the prompts.

Companies

How do I create a company page?

Creating a company page enables you to increase your exposure, build your online network, demonstrate your expertise, and help potential recruits find out more about you.

To create a company page:

  1. Click on the “Companies” tab at the top of the screen,
  2. Click on “Create a company page,
  3. Click on “Create your company page now”,
  4. Fill in the required information fields, and
  5. Click on “Create your page”.

Please note that your email address must be registered to your company domain name and that your website must be live and verifiable.

Where do I manage my company page?

Click on Settings in the top right-hand corner of the screen and select “Your company pages”. From here, you can choose to view, manage, or edit your company pages.

  • Post a job

Manage

  • View followers
  • View and/or assign page administrators. Administrators:
    • Can edit your company page and post content
    • Must have a LeaddMe account

Who can post a job on my company page?

Can I delegate administration of my company page?

Yes, you can designate any LeaddMe member as the page administrator. See above for more details.

How do I make an effective company page?

An effective company page screams “I am a trustworthy employer doing exciting things” to potential candidates. Completing all profile information and uploading a photo adds credibility. Keeping your profile active with engaging content creates opportunities to show off your company’s business interests, expertise, and philosophy.

How do I post a job on my company page?

Utilize the power of AI and social media to help you in your search by posting a job on your LeaddMe company page. Our chatbot saves you time by taking care of the initial interviews and automating some management tasks so that you can focus on engaging with the best candidates. To post a job:

  1. Go the the jobs page
  2. Click “Post a job”,
  3. Fill in the relevant job details,
  4. Type the first letters of your company and select it from the dropdown
  5. Click on “Post Now!”
  6. Share your job post on LeaddMe and any other platform to increase your exposure, and
  7. Sit back, relax, and watch the applications roll in while our AI-powered chatbot screens candidates for you.

The job post will appear on your company page, and in job searches.

How do I edit or close a job I have posted?

To delete a job:

  1. Go to the job’s page,
  2. Click on the “Actions” button on the right-hand side of the screen, and
  3. Select “edit job” or “close job” from the drop-down menu.

Jobs

How do I search for a job?

The LeaddMe chatbot can help you search for a job.

Or, you can search by yourself using the search function. Please do the following:

  1. Go to the “Jobs” tab,
  2. Enter a keyword and/or desired location to narrow down your search,
  3. Click “Search”, and
  4. Filter the results by specifying the job category, salary range, career level, location and type (internship, graduate position etc.) on the right hand side of the screen for better result.

To view more information about a job you are interested in, click on the job title.

How do I apply for a job?

  1. Go to the job’s page,
  2. Find your next great job opportunity,
  3. Click the blue “Apply Now” button in the top right-hand corner, and
  4. Follow the prompts.

Selecting “Easy Apply” allows you to quickly apply for jobs with one click using your LeaddMe profile.

How do I make a great LeaddMe profile?

Put your best foot forward. The best LeaddMe profiles are those that have all the information that employers are looking for. A friendly yet professional profile picture also adds credibility to your profile.

Do I need a resume or CV to apply for a job?

LeaddMe allows you to efficiently apply for jobs using your profile. This saves you the hassle and time spent in creating and uploading one. However, you can submit a CV if you prefer.

I can’t find a job I saw recently. Where did it go?

The deadline for applications may have passed, or the position may no longer be available.

I got an error uploading my CV. What should I do?

Please check that you have used one of the following formats:

  • jpg
  • jpeg
  • png

What is LeaddMe Campus?

LeaddMe Campus is a goldmine providing valuable information and networking opportunities to job hunters. Students and recent graduates can find useful job hunting tips, resume examples, and keep up with industry trends via the blog. Members can also connect with each other and follow companies they are interested in.

How do I find internships & graduate jobs?

There are three ways to do this:

  1. Go to the “Campus” tab and click “See internships” or “See graduate positions”,
  2. Ask the LeaddMe chatbot to assist you, or
  3. Use the job search function on the jobs page and filter the results to show only graduate or internship positions.

Where can I find job hunting tips and information?

On the LeaddMe Campus page and the Student Magazine/Blog.

What is a LeaddMe Campus Ambassador?

Students typically lack experience and cash. Becoming a LeaddMe Campus Ambassador can provide you with both! The LeaddMe Campus Ambassador program is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world leadership skills and sales experience while helping your fellow students and earning an extra income. You will be tasked with raising LeaddMe’s profile on campus by speaking directly with students and otherwise promoting LeaddMe as an excellent resource for students wishing to launch their careers.

Groups

What is a LeaddMe Group?

A LeaddMe Group is a community based around a shared industry or interest. Groups provide a great way to network with others in your field. Ask questions, get advice, post articles, discuss relevant topics, and grow together.

Who can make a group?

Any LeaddMe member can create a group. To create a Group:

  1. Go to the “Groups” tab,
  2. Click on the “+ Create group” button, and
  3. Follow the prompts.

Can I join more than one group?

Yes, you can join as many groups as you like.

How do I manage an effective Group?

The keys to running an effective group are to:

  • Actively engage with group members,
  • Post relevant information,
  • Promote positive engagement within the group, and
  • Invite new members to join.

How do I delete a post or comment I made in a group?

Click on the three dots at the top right-hand corner of the post and select “delete”.

Where do I report suspicious activity in a group?

We have designed LeaddMe to be a positive community to support our members in taking steps forward in their careers. If you have concerns about content posted in a group, you can report it by:

  1. Clicking on the three dots at the top right-hand corner of the post,
  2. Selecting “Report post” from the drop-down menu, and
  3. Following the prompts.

Privacy & Security

Will my email address or mobile number be visible on my profile?

No. You can have confidence that your mobile number and email address will remain private and not be shared with any third-parties.

However, please consider whether or not you should use your company email address when creating your account as this cannot be changed after registration.

Where do I report suspicious activity?

We have designed LeaddMe to be a positive community to support our users in taking steps forward in their careers. If you have concerns about a member’s profile or posted content, you can report it directly to us. We take any such reports very seriously.

Members profiles If you become aware of or suspect a fake/misleading profile, inappropriate profile picture etc., please:

  1. Go to that user’s profile,
  2. Clicking on the three dots at the right-hand side of the screen,
  3. Select “Report” from the drop-down menu, and
  4. Follow the prompts.

Content If you have concerns regarding posted content please:

  1. Click on the three dots at the top right-hand corner of the post,
  2. Select “Report” from the drop-down menu, and
  3. Follow the prompts.

How do I report unwanted messages?

In the unfortunate event that you receive unwanted messages, you have the ability to block a member. To do this:

  1. Go to their profile,
  2. Click on the three dots on the right hand side of the screen, and
  3. Select “block”.

Blocked users are not able to send you messages or follow you.

You can also report offensive content or suspicious activity.

I lost my password. How do I reset it?

  1. Go to the LeaddMe homepage,
  2. Click on “Forgot your password?” at the top right-hand corner of the screen,
  3. Follow the prompts, and
  4. We will send you a link to reset your password.
