IT Account Manager

This position will be part of the International Research & Development IT organization which supports the areas of Discovery and Pre-Clinical Research, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Affairs, Real World Evidence in the following regions Latin America (LA), Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) and Japan, China and Asia Pacific (JCAP).

The position will be operating from Japan, Tokyo. The successful candidate will take on the role of Research & Development IT – Senior Business Analyst and be responsible for one or more above business domains. Key responsibilities include

• Act as the single point of contact of IT
• Provide IT consultation to the business
• Influence business strategy from IT perspective in alignment with global IT strategy
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement by using digital / technology
• Manage IT demands
• Take ownership of IT products or applications and drive from planning through implementation to operations
• Provide business analysis support
• Manage relationships with key business stakeholders
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with other IT teams to support the business as one IT
• Participate in innovative experiments

All activities must be conducted in compliance with company policies and standards, as well as regional and country-specific regulations

Travel will be required (~10%)

Education And Skills Required

Degree or advanced degree in Science or Computer related field

• 3 years experience of working in a business analyst role or a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledge of SDLC and project management
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and team-working skills
• Fluent Japanese communication and business level English communication
• Experience of working in international and intercultural teams
• Curiosity, proactivity, and positivity

• Experience of working in the R&D domain in the pharmaceutical industry
