Accountant

The Accountant (AGL) manages accounting transactions relative to the general ledger.

Responsibilities:

● Process accounting transactions in ERP for assigned areas and business units according to the local law and Group

accounting standards

● Review the balance sheet justification document prepared by financial controllers

● Prepare balance sheet justification documentation for assigned BS accounts

● Perform monthly and annual closing including supporting document preparation for local tax return

● Processing and checks of documents for audits and Tax controls

● Assist in reviewing and driving changes in financial control processes to ensure effective internal controls

● Executing subsequent operations in the ERP system (open BS items clearing etc.)

● Integrate Payroll data prepared by HR into SAP while assuring internal control requirements relevant to the GL team

● Facilitate communication with internal partners for intercompany transaction reconciliation

● Assist financial controllers and AP/AR teams to solve pending accounting issues (price, volume, payment, etc)
