Job Description
Accountant
Main Duties
The main responsibility of the Accounts Receivable is to provide financial and administrative support to the business, securing revenue and enabling commercial departments to run profitable operations and fulfilling defined targets. This is achieved by monitoring and processing incoming payments, verifying and posting receipts as well as resolving discrepancies when necessary, all with accuracy and in a timely manner.
Accounts Receivable
- Assure the accounts payable process with accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Accurately review, code, and process bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Resolve authorized/unauthorized deductions according to procedures
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Manage and maintain customer payment information
- Address and respond to customer inquiries
- Collaborate and coordinate necessary actions and information with Credit Collection colleagues
