Job Description
HR Director
Main Responsibilities: The HR Director drives a high-performance culture by developing and managing strategic HR initiatives in collaboration with the management team. Key duties include creating an environment for top performance, ensuring policies and processes meet business needs, and adapting to a changing environment.
Competencies:
- Strategic HR Development:
- Define and implement HR plans and strategies.
- Manage succession planning, workforce planning, and policy development.
- Align HR processes with business needs and contribute to business and HR strategies.
- HR Administration and Support:
- Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, budgeting, and reporting.
- Handle conflict resolution and rehabilitation processes.
- Organizational Change Management:
- Act as a change agent and support change management projects.
- Conduct gap analysis, develop plans, and manage communication.
- HR Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to HR legislation, company policies, and labor relations.
- Manage union relations and terminations.
- HR Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and manage the HR team.
- Set goals, manage performance, and ensure employee satisfaction.
- Health & Safety Development:
- Implement safety and health policies.
- Foster a safe and healthy work environment.
- Representation:
- Represent the company in employer branding activities and with regulatory bodies.
- Systemized Improvement Work:
- Set agendas for improvement activities and ensure best practices.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
- Higher education or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in similar roles, preferably in a heavy vehicle or B2B industry.
- Managerial and leadership experience with P&L responsibility.
- Fluent in English.
