Job Description
<Mission>
The Control Law engineer leads EDC control law development and validation activities of the project according to the objectives given by the Inverter R&D PTM.
- He is accountable for the deliverables of his Metier to ensure the success of the project
- He is responsible for the detailed scheduling and tracking of his Metier activities, with the support of the Metier Department Manager / R&D Manager
<Responsibility>
Accountable for :
Complying with Métiers processes and Design Rules:
- Plan, monitor, and control activities according to Metier PDP of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management)
- In charge of the robust design/validation in line with the metier standards
- Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
- Perform or support design/simulations / coding / associated acceptance tests of the product control law
- Applies Standardization rules exceptionally will request destandardizations based on justifications
- Responsible for Metier design reviews preparation
- Interface with the customer for the Metier content
- Report and escalate to the functional manager and his Hierarchical
Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting
- Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment, investments
- Establish level 3 timings and detail breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones defined by the Inverter R&D PTM
- Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing
As a team member
- Contribute to design reviews of other components not under his direct responsibility
- Contribute to innovation (ideas, patents, brainstorming)
- Contribute to the design rules improvement and to the metier efficiency plan
- Contribute to the Design FMEA and DRBFM
<Education>
Engineering Degree in electronic or electrotechnical engineering with good knowledge of real-time automatic control system
<Professional>
Min 2/3 years of experience in the related métier in automotive engineering or relevant industries.
