Job Description

Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will oversee and complete multiple audiovisual (AV) and video conferencing projects, ensuring they align with company goals and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main contact for all project communications.
  • Manage all project phases, including design, engineering, installation, programming, and testing.
  • Lead project kick-off meetings with client representatives.
  • Create and manage project schedules and budgets for AV installations.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other trades as needed.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
  • Handle the procurement of materials after document approval.
  • Oversee and monitor labor efforts throughout the project, including engineering and installation.
  • Request quotes from subcontractors as necessary.
  • Manage changes to project scope proactively.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of installation work by staff or subcontractors.
  • Test and certify the performance of installed systems.
  • Provide training to clients and manage the project handover to the service department.

Requirements:

  • Experience in project management or technical engineering (AV/IT).
  • Fluent in English and native-level Japanese.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the AV industry.
  • Knowledge of Crestron systems, DSPs (Biamp, Clearone, etc.), and networking.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD, general contractor procedures, and AV cable terminations.
  • Experience with testing and commissioning video conferencing systems.
  • Certifications like CTS, CTS-I, or PMP are a plus.
