System Engineer

System Engineer 

Establish customer trust by participating in regular meetings with customers and delivering results that meet their expectations. Collaborate with the Systems Technology Project Manager to facilitate technical communication with customers. Understand customer technical priorities and support the Systems Technology Project Manager. Manage feature development to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements, and conduct effective technical and design reviews. Support Engineering Gates (chair), Technical Management meetings. Collaborate with the Project Manager, and Systems Technology Project Manager to manage feature change requests. Provide weekly updated plans for feature development. Apply processes, methodologies, and tools required for state-of-the-art development. Lead technical escalations, and issues from analysis to resolution, and report progress to customers. Leverage lessons learned to improve standards and align with discipline (systems, software, systems validation, mechatronics) standards.

Resource Management

Define, review, and monitor resource management for feature development in collaboration with project teams, and R&D.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in software, computer science, or communications/telematics.
• Experience in telematics is a must.
• Experience in automotive product development is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, and systems/software.
• Basic knowledge of electronic devices.
• Knowledge of cloud technology, telematics architecture, and data handling.
• Experience in systems engineering, requirements engineering, and testing (requirements analysis/test case creation methodology, traceability concepts, reporting).
• Analytical skills, root cause analysis, problem-solving skills.
• Communication/reporting skills and basic quality knowledge (e.g., FTA, Ishikawa diagram).
• 5 to 15 years of experience in a related field.
