Senior Process Engineer,

As a (Senior) Process Engineer, you will face challenging yet rewarding responsibilities. You’ll be entrusted with full ownership of projects, supported with both autonomy and assistance. As a member of the PEALD Process Development team, you will develop new processes and applications within cutting-edge integrated device flows. You’ll work in one of the most advanced scientific fields, contributing to innovations that will appear in tomorrow’s market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct hands-on work with products in the R&D lab to research and develop new films, and optimize processes for next-generation semiconductor devices.
• Design and perform experiments, measurements, and data analysis, and interpret complex experimental results.
• Address a variety of complex process issues, perform root cause analysis, and create action plans to resolve product challenges.
• Collaborate with global R&D teams and customers to understand and define project requirements and execute successful demonstrations.
• Ensure successful product transfer by performing demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and traveling as needed to support other sites.
• Deliver creative solutions, create inventions, and develop intellectual property.

Requirements:

• PhD in a relevant scientific or engineering field applicable to the semiconductor or related industries.
• Experience in areas such as thin film process development, data science, plasma processing, device R&D, CAE, or AI.
• Ability to independently manage process development projects and collaborate with hardware engineering, product support, analytical suppliers, and R&D organizations.
• Understanding of the interaction between hardware design, software, and process outputs.
• Capacity to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing requirements.
• Strong communication skills to lead a diverse team and coordinate various functions.
• A hands-on approach to problem-solving with a flexible attitude.
