Senior IT & Automation Specialist

The IT & Automation Senior Specialist is responsible for providing technical support in the field of IT and automation. Supports a large spectrum of IT systems within Manufacturing Operations. Responsible for resolution of IT problems, implementation of IT changes and troubleshooting in compliance with SDLC, GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.

Also, responsible for providing technical support in the field of automation. Supports IT & Automation Lead and IT & Automation Engineer in investigations, finding resolution of automation problems and in the implementation of Automation Change Control in compliance with SDLC, GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.

The IT & Automation Senior Specialist will also coordinate and manage the implementation and integration of solutions collaborating with regional and global IT delivery teams and/or to propose remediation plan and strategic plan proactively to satisfy local requirements. Actively support an empowered team culture including significant interaction with manufacturing, quality and engineering groups.

The IT & Automation Senior Specialist should possess good IT & automation knowledge combined with business acumen. The role will partner with Japan IT and Manufacturing teams and other cross-divisional teams to develop end-to-end process using methodological approach. This role is a change-agent to drive transformation and innovation practices.

This role is a keen team player who mentors junior team members on how to achieve organizational goals jointly, as well as a change-agent to drive transformation and innovation practices.
