Job Description
Productivity Buyer
Job Duties:
- Purchasing Parts: Focus on finished products (die-cast, harness), assembly parts, and resin parts.
- Supplier Management: Discover and evaluate new suppliers, and plan and execute sourcing strategies.
- Project Coordination: Certify and select suppliers for each project, including those for new electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs).
- Negotiations: Coordinate cost negotiations, drive cost reduction activities, and handle contract-related adjustments with suppliers.
- Environmental and BCP Support: Work with suppliers on environmental protection and support sustainable Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments within the company, including overseas affiliates.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Practical experience in product development (related to electronic parts) or purchasing (including cost negotiation and process understanding).
- Business-level Japanese skills.
- Willingness to learn English through work (though not required).
- Preferred:
- Practical experience in the automotive industry.

Salary & Benefits:
- Location: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo
- Working Hours: 8:30-17:30 (standard 8-hour workday)
- Flextime: Yes (core time: 10:30-15:15)
- Break Time: 60 minutes (12:30-13:30)
