Job Description
Payroll Specialist
Human Resources Department Payroll General operations related to payroll and social insurance within
the group You will be mainly responsible for payroll and social insurance work for approximately 5,000 employees enrolled in all group companies in Japan.
*Specifically, the scope of work is as follows.
We would like you to work with team members with innovative ideas and passion in order to efficiently provide high-quality services. In addition, with this as a foothold, we will provide necessary support along with a career path to other HR operations (human resource development, business partners, recruitment, etc.).
(1) Salary-related work (salary data check, slip creation, correction)
(2) Bonus-related work (assessment-related work, payment data check)
(3) Social insurance-related work (creation of social insurance documents, cooperation with social workers)
(4) Resident tax and withholding tax data check
(5) Work related to entering and leaving the company
(6) Work related to settlement (collection of data necessary for the settlement of accounts related to salary and social insurance) Mission
He/ she ensures the reliability of the data recorded in the payroll software, carries out payroll checks and wages and
social charges are transferred in collaboration with the payroll provider
He/she provides level 2 support to employees in close collaboration with the HR service from its managed portfolio
He/she is responsible for the correct and strict application of the social legislation, the collective agreement for
metallurgy and internal site agreements (when existing)
He/she applies the instructions and procedures defined by the company group and the team of specialists of the SSC
Payroll
He/she participates in the harmonization of processes and the ramp-up of the SSC Payroll in the project phase as well
as contributing to permanent improvement of the service delivery by proposing changes, improvements, etc
Responsibilities

*Experience in working wages/social insurance (regardless of experience)
*Interest in business and high communication skills
*Business-level Japanese and English proficiency
(usually Japanese) English is used in conversations with foreign employees who cannot speak Japanese)
[Wanted (WANT)]
* Work experience in foreign-affiliated companies or overseas
* Work experience in the manufacturing industry (automobile-related, electrical appliances, etc.)
