Japan Demand Fulfilment/ Distribution & Logistics Lead

The head of supply chain DF/D&L Japan is the leader to align strategies among commercial organizations, business partners, and contract manufacturing organizations. The position is an expert in end-to-end supply chain optimization, developing and leveraging our strategies, supply resources, and operations capabilities. Working as demand partners to provide business insights, proactively working with Commercial and Finance to create demand plans through robust S&OP process and balance supply solutions to achieve our success in Japan. Also, the lead is responsible for ensuring trade compliance and managing local distribution and logistics

Education, Experience, and Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Science; minimum 10 years of international experience managing commercial supply in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharma industry.
• Proficiency in S&OP methodology; Strong understanding of regulatory requirements at the country level and their application within supply chain planning and execution
• broad knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality, Supply Chain and GDP/GMP practices; Ability to develop cross-functional partnerships and strategies
• Ability to build trust and create a collaborative environment and relationships
• Effective planning skills and recruitment skills to identify strong performers, hire adequate members of staff, and establish a high-performance organization
• Recognize effectively balances the interest and needs of the organization
• Experience implementing and working with supply chain management tools
• Demonstrated evidence of analytical, planning, and execution capability
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with experience in conflict resolution and negotiations
• Strategic thinker who can balance near term objectives with long term goals and outcomes, evaluate risk and develop effective solutions through an integrated multi-disciplined decision-
