Missions and Responsibilities
Duties & Accountabilities
1 Internal communication
Help in ensuring the ALJ's communication strategy/priorities / key messages are visible in the company by developing communication materials and updating existing communication tools
Support communications projects by developing effective communications tools
Assist in implementing company programs and deploying communication tools to support the strategy of the Hub and the Group
Help inform, engage and motivate employees through communication initiatives
Share best practices of ALJ Communications within the Hub and APAC Communications Community
Help in ensuring branding guidelines and other communication templates are adhered to within ALJ
Assist in cascading communications from Hub/APAC/Group Communication within ALJ
Assist in organizing and managing regional internal events and CSR events
2 Management communications/ Strategic communications
Support Hub Communications in implementing strategic management communications programs
Assist in organizing management and VIP events in ALJ
Provide ad hoc communications support or assistance to ALJ Management
Assist in promoting strategic communication on Business Lines and Support Functions, including HR
3 Digital communications
Manage digital communications such as website, blog, intranet, and other Google-based apps
Utilize external digital tools in developing communication materials and incorporate the latest digital tools as necessary
4 Editorial
Write compelling regional news articles, corporate stories, employee features, and blog posts and contribute articles in Japanese and English
Screen, edit, rewrite articles submitted by the entities for publication in the ALJ intranet to make it easier for employees to understand
Administer and oversee production of all communication materials
Competencies and Profile
- Experience in working in a multinational corporation's internal communications team
- Having worked in organizations with matrix reporting lines is a plus

- Excellent written and verbal Japanese and English communication skills
- Digitally savvy - must have strong knowledge of digital communication tools and latest trends
- Creative thinker and having the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Communication
