Job description

Primary Activities / Responsibilities:

This IT Agile Manager role is expected to encourage and manage people to deliver better IT solutions/services and contribute to our customers and the business. This individual needs to understand the business strategy, their goal, their challenges/pain points, company’s IT architecture, data platform, standard applications, and external environment changes to lead peoples toward the company directions and to define necessary technologies to build a competitive advantage in the market. He/She will also play the role of leading to define IT road map for the future and the role to develop a people as well to enable the technologies based on the IT road map.

Required skills

  • Strategic thinking to adapt and respond for mid- to long-term direction and priorities through the alignment of key initiatives and resources to organizational goals and objectives changes
  • Road mapping & planning to develop and manage the process of migrating from the current to the target state architecture, typically the standard architecture.
  • Have innovative mind-set for new technologies to assess and introduce new technology solutions for deployment to drive efficiencies or enable business capabilities
  • Technical portfolio management to analyze, document, and plan the complete lifecycle of applications, infrastructure, and data with the greatest functionality and performance at the lowest total cost and complexity
  • Business opportunities development to identify business opportunities and create a project plan that justifies how IT services will meet strategic business objectives and outcomes
  • Influence to others without authority
  • Ability to communicate technical context in plain language
  • High communication skill for interactive and effective communication with others in Japanese and in English

Required Experiences

  • Have experiences of people manager role to develop a people
  • Several project management experiences as below in IT system development/implementation

Schedule management, issue/risk management, communication plan development and its execution,

stakeholder management, ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously, etc

  • Experience working with the business closely and ability to transform business needs into technology requirements
  • Experiences of collaboration with overseas diverse teams
  • Agile Development experience or understanding of agile development is plus
  • Working experiences under virtual environment is plus
