About the Team: Global Business Solutions (GBS) is where we provide solutions to businesses through our advertisement products such as TikTok for Business. By connecting businesses to our platform's audiences who are looking for the next interest, we provide full-funnel solutions. The responsibilities of Sales team are as follows: - Lead the integration of the TikTok's solutions and services into the strategy of the Japan’s largest advertisers. Define and own account plans to unlock investments and drive client’s business key performance metrics. - Understand long-term business objectives/KPIs to align TikTok strategy and negotiate complex business opportunities. - Partner with cross-functional partners to structure and execute operational and strategic initiatives - developing account plans, synthesizing market related data, leading client analysis and defining the overall business approach to success. - Prospect and penetrate organizations to drive alignment and influence executive and day-to-day contacts to execute against account plan. - Collaborate with measurement partners to create learning agendas to help clients measure the impact of marketing and adopt measurement solutions. - Own forecasting and accurate client analysis to support team planning. - Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends and case studies across TikTok solutions. - Use information and knowledge that we have as ByteDance and pitch to our clients - Provide account management and open up new accounts of our advertisers and advertisement agencies in Japan - Grow our business through collaboration with internal stakeholders Within our Sales, there is a Client Partner that performs sales activities for advertisers, and there is an Agency Partner that performs sales activities for advertisement agencies. Responsibilities: Client Partner Unit Lead will act as a people manager to our Food and Beverage Industry team. This person will lead the team to build sales strategy and pave the way to execution in order to maximize our revenues. The specific responsibilities are below (but not limited to): Drive Revenue Targets for Japan: - Activate, Retain & Grow Top Japan Clients. - Accurately and effectively manage sales pipelines, identifying and prioritizing opportunities to drive short- and long-term revenue growth. - Understand long-term business objectives/KPIs to align TikTok strategy and negotiate complex business opportunities. - Meet revenue goals for stated accounts. Account Vision and Strategic Planning: - Establish and lead account vision and strategic growth plan. - Lead internal XFN alignment and collaboration to work towards vision. Solve challenges and unlock revenue blockers in Japan: - Coordinate efforts with the Global Accounts, Business Marketing and other key functions to leverage their efforts. - Build & leverage CXO connects to overcome local challenges. - Drive depth in local markets via full funnel product adoption through education and evangelisation (Best Practice Sharing, Global Case Studies, Global Campaigns & RFPs. Client Sponsorship Development: - Establish new senior-level relationships and grow existing relationships. - Build trust and credibility of TikTok and serve as a thought leader in order to influence Tik Tok to become a key marketing channel. - Create and deliver consultative, creative solutions to clients by leveraging knowledge of client objectives, market trends, and TikTok solutions. - Understanding key relationships that influence decision making. Industry and Business Impact: - Demonstrates a deep knowledge of vertical, client business, and accompanying TikTok solutions. - Put the customer at the core. People Management: - Mentor and coach the team members to ensure they can perform their sales activities smoothly - Be responsible for the team members' long-term career success at ByteDance


Must-Have's - More than 7 years of marketing or advertisement sales experience with a specialty in Food and Beverage industry - Deep understanding of digital marketing and able to strategically approach advertisers and advertisement agencies - Proven experience in coaching, mentoring and training your peers and team members - Team-worker who can collaborate well with other functions and other regions - Proven experience managing large advertisement and campaign budget - Able to enjoy the rapidly changing environment - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent - Fluency in Japanese and High business-level English Good-to-Have's - Digital advertisement sales experience - Management experience ByteDance is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
