Search Operation Specialist-Evaluation and Investigation

We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. What you will be doing? 1. Assist search PM in formulating & translating evaluation guidelines, and labeling evaluation data. 2. DCG Assessment : Complete weekly and bimonthly assessment of search quality in accordance with evaluation standard documents. 3. Strategy Assessment：Use side by side method to complete daily strategy assessment of search quality in accordance with evaluation standard documents. 4. Judge users' search needs through query and tools, and sort out the classification of requirements. 5. Comb the types of search bad cases and rate the quality of the results. 6. Give ideal search results and feedback suggestions for policy improvement. 7. Make evaluation report in English. 8. While it is assumed the specialist will focus on their area of expertise, there will be occasions in which he/she will work on projects outside this core area that could require other capabilities, such as use assessment methods flexibly to support related projects.

Qualifications

What should you bring? 1. Native or close to Native level of Japanese 2. English will be main working language, business level is a must 3. Graduated from a full-time university is a must 4. Passionate to learn about search engines, familiar with SNS 5. Has an in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users 6.
